Thank You 2009!

Ok this is too cool. I don't know how many here have Pentax cameras but I just discovered by reading my volumous manual for the new camera that all of my 25-30 year old 35mm Pentax lenses fit right onto my new K100D body, no bloody adapters needed! I find that refreshing as when new products are made by some other companies the old gear is obsolete or you have to buy adapters. The shooting sequence for using the old lenses is a bit different than the digital lens, but now when I leave for vacation all of my lenses are going along. I'll be packing for the trip after work but I may get out tomorrow evening and actully take a few photos and DL them to see how things work with the different lenses. I am leaving Saturday morning and taking a side trip on Skyline Drive, part of the Blue Ridge Parkway to Charlottesville, Va and finding a place to spend the night before heading to the North Carolina coast. I don't have a laptop yet so I won't be online all week, which may be a good thing as sometimes I suffer from techno overload and get grumpy.
