I havn't been spending much time online this last month, got way behind here. Been spending the past few weekends down in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon relaxing, kayaking, listening to great music by the campfire, exploring the backroads and trails of the vast state forests and shooting photos.

Hiked into the remaining old growth Hemlock stand Sunday morning at the Bark Cabin Natural Area, there are some pretty impressive trees there that gives one an idea of what the forests looked like before the rest of the area was clear cut logged in the 1800's.

My grandson arrived in this crazy world on July 23! I've already had a talk with him about never taking up the game of golf! LOLOL

I have a busy month ahead already and hope to take vacation to head out on a canoe trip in the Adirondacks, probably in late September when the colors are out.

Winding down the Holiday

Back home now, easy drive today. Left early and beat the Holiday traffic!

and Mrs. in the great City of Brooklyn, USA! Planned on shooting more than we did but Sunday was a definant recovery day, plus the light and haziness didn't make for a great photo day. But I will be DL-ing what I got and I'm sure there are a few post worthy with some tweaking. Thanx for the great meal last evening Mrs. Skusting! Hope everyone had fun and safe celebrations this weekend!!!
